Wesco Agencies (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in November 1980 in a rented premises at Petaling Jaya, Selangor and stated business with a wide range of chemical i.e., Wesco Chemicals (M) Sdn. Bhd., a company founded since 1971 as an importer and distributor of agricultural and industrial chemical. Since the acquisition of the business from its predecessor, Wesco Agencies has grown rapidly with new product lines and capturing new markets. In 1983 the company acquired a new four storey shop office building in Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya and used this newly acquired premises as its new corporate head office.

In 1988 the company expanded its operation by acquiring a factory cum warehouse through its wholly owned subsidiary OTA (M) Sdn. Bhd. The new premises had since being used by the company as its storage and distribution center.

Today, Wesco Agencies is supported by a team of well experienced management and qualified sales people and has become one of the established importers and distributors of agrochemicals, with a  strong sales network of over 300 dealers in Malaysia.
